Report Requirement Documenter (RRD) is an open source application aimed at assisting organizations in gathering
and storing business/technical requirements for enterprise report development. Business Intelligence reporting applications like Cognos, Microstrategy, Brio, and Business Objects exist, but until now we have lacked a good open source requirement documentation system.

RRD has been developed with PHP, MySQL, & Javascript.
It runs on Windows, Linux, and Unix.

Project News 

Version 1.1 Released - 1/30/2005

The online demo is now complete. During testing of the online demo I found that I messed a big portion of the code when I made some changes to 1.0a. I did a full set of testing on 1.0a before I released it, but after testing I made a few minor changes (or so I thought). Anyway, sorry to anyone who tried 1.0a and had no luck. The connection file was messed up and it basically made the application unusable. I have fully corrected and tested v1.1. Let me know if you find any bugs. Thanks!

Version 1.0a Released - 12/24/2004

I forgot to add information on the v1.0 installation instructions about how to deal with the new upload directory. Admins will need to make sure users have the proper permissions to upload/delete files from one of RRD's directories. I have added this info to the "install.txt" file. 
 
Nothing else has changed since v1.0.

Version 1.0 Released - 12/20/2004

This is the second release of RRD. It has matured a great deal since the v1.0-alpha release. Enough to make this the first official production quality release.
